Vacuum Processing

Peters’ Heat Treating utilizes the latest in computerized vacuum technology. This assures precision in heat processing by providing distortional and dimensional stability. Vacuum processing produces bright clean parts. Bright parts can reduce production time because they do not need polishing for grinding after heat treating. Vacuum processes include hardening, tempering, aging, stress relieving, annealing, solution treating, normalizing and homogenizing.

Peters’ furnaces operate to 2,350℉ and adhere to AMS 2750/AMS-H-6875 pyrometry. 48” x 48” x 60” maximum capacity.
