Stress Relieving Services
What is Stress Relieving?
Stress relieving removes the internal stresses in the material. Internal stresses may be created in the manufacturing process from cold working, non-uniform heating and cooling (welding/flame cutting), and machining. These stresses may cause distortion or dimensional changes if they are not relieved in a controlled process.
